DEFRAUDED TWO EMPLOYERS.

TWO YEARS' PROBATION GRANTED.
(By Telegrapn.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Harold Francis Reed, aged 19, came up for sentence to-day on a charge of stealing sums of money amounting to £5 from his late employers, Kincaid, Ltd. Mr. Mosley, S.M., said the only thing that weighed with the Court wae the poor position of Reed's mother and family. There was nothing to be said for him. Addressing Reed he eaid, "You deliberately set out on a course of crime. You defrauded two employers, you are matriculated and have had every advantage. I am not going to suppress your name. When next you are employed your employer will know that you defrauded two other employers." Reed was admitted to probation for two vears.
