MISS MAHER'S SADDLE SLIPS.

SEVERAL RIBS BROKEN.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTOX N., this day. Miss Maher, the lady mentor, met with a nasty accident yesterday when pursuing a horse round the paddock at Awapuni, the saddle on the horse she was riding slipping round. Miss Maher was thrown heavily, breaking several ribs.

Miss Maher was the most successful trainer at the recent Woodville meeting, leading in four winners.
