WEEK'S FIGURES INCREASE.
i Unemployment in which during the; past few weeks has had a tendency to improve, has again increased. At the moment there are 638 men regis- j tered at the bureau of the Labour Department, as against #15 la«t_ Saturday. Of the former number 552 men are capable of doing heavy work, and the. remainder are-, writable for light labour.i)uring: the past week the. Department, succeeded in placing 78 men in positions.
