\ MODERN BUILDING PLANNED, fljn —— At the upset price, an annual rental of £1560, another section on the Civic Centre has been disposed of, through S. Vaile and Sons, the lessors being Fergusson Buildings Ltd. The section has a frontage to both Queen Street and Myers Street. It is proposed to erect a five-storeyed building with shops on the ground floor, and it is probable that work -will start early in the new. year. In the main block of the Civic Centre which is bounded by Queen, Wellesley Street West, Fergusson and Myers Streets there are nine sections, and only one now remains to be dealt with.
