LOOKED SERIOUS.
BUT MAY NOT BE SO. "This looks serious, but I would like time to go into the case, as I believe accused was under the influence of liquor at the time, and the matter may not be as serious when full facts are known," was the way Sub-Inspector McCarthv introduced Garnet Wolseley McMinn (46) to Mr. F. K. Hunt's notice at the Police Court this morning. McMinn was charged with breaking and entering, by day, the shop of John Walker, animal dealer, Queen Street, yesterday, with intent to commit a crime. McMinn was remanded until Monday next.
