CONSPIRACY ALLEGED.

MOTOR FIRM CLAIMS £2000. GUARANTEE IN DISPUTE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. A case in which conspiracy was alleged and which arose out of the affairs of George Wilcox, of Ashburton, motor dealer, was heard to-day by Mr. Justice Adams. The plaintiffs were Dominion Motors, with which Wilcox had large transactions, and defendants were John Fleming, of Cheviot, father-in-law of Wilcox, and Mrs. Fleming. Plaintiffs claimed £2000 damages, and alleged that Wilcox was still indebted to the Dominion Motors for £4296, and that he gained credit by presenting a guarantee signed by Mrs. Fleming and saying it was the signature of his father-in-law. Counsel said Mr. Fleming was freed from allegations of conspiracy. The hearing is proceeding.
