UNION RIFT.

RUSH TO LAW. Seamen Carry Internal Dispute To Arbitration Court. RIVAL FACTION FIGHT. (Received 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The factional fight which has disturbed the Seamen's Union ranks for the past three years has been transferred to the Federal Arbitration Court for settlement, Mr. Jacob Johnson's followers having decided to apply for registration. Mr. Tom Walsh's section of the union has. already lodged an application for registration. Mr. Walsh describes the Johnsonian move as bluff, since they had three years in which to register, but always scouted the idea. Johnson men state, on the other hand, that the seamen were induced to join Walsh's union under false pretences and are now repudiating it.
