BEEKEEPERS ASSOCIATION.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. At the conclusion of an address by Mr. G. V. Westbrook, Government Apiary inspector, la-st week, a branch of the National Beekeepers' Association was formed in Whangarei. The following officers were elected:—President, Mr. J. C. Clarke; vice-president, Mr. J. Otway; secretary, Mr. E. Higgins; committee, Messrs. E. Foote, Kitcat and Master Norwood. Mr. F. Bains, who was for some years Dominion secretary of the National Beekeepers' Association, consented to act as adviser to the branch.
