BUS DRIVER ASSAULTED.
DRUNKEN MAN PICKS A QUARREL. Charges of drunkenness in.Great North Road, and assaulting Peter Barrett, a bus driver, were brought against George Sutton (47), at the Police Court to-day. Sutton admitted both counts. It was stated by Sub-Inspector McCarthy that Sutton picked a quarrel with the bus driver «n Saturday, while under the influence of liquor. He was subsequently arrested at his house, when he was found to be in a raving condition. "However, when sober, he is quite a good fellow," added the sub-inspector. Provided Sutton pays a fine of 5/ on the first charge and £1 on the second, everybody will be satUfied,
