NEW WAIOEKA ROAD.
FIRST MOTOR TRAFFIC. (By Telegraph.-—Own Correspondent.) OPOTIKI, this day. Two motor cars have travelled over the new Waioeka road, between Matawai and Opotiki, for the first time. With the exception of one fairly big bridge the road is now open for traffic in fine weather, but although the roads is pastable it is by no meant easy, and it will probably be several month* before It is really aafe to travel over. ,
