CYCLE HILL-CLIMBING.
EVENTS AT HAMILTON. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. A hill-climbing programme was decided by the Hamilton Motor Cycle Club at Tauwhare on Saturday. A record for th» climb, 17 l-ss, was established by H. Maxwell, who clipped 2s off the previous record. All the events were won by Auckland riders, who outnumbered local competitors. There were over 600 spectators. Following are the results:— Side Valve Class.—S. Person, A.J.S., andi N. Person, A.J.S., 19 2-ss, 1. 350 c.c Championship.—H. Maxwell* Rex-Acme, 17 l-ss, 1; A. Bowler, RerAcme, 17 4-os, 2: A. McLaren, 0.E.C., 15 4-ss, 3. 600 c.c. Championship.— J. Blomfleld, Rndge Whitworth, 19 2-ss, 1; J. Carter, Ariel, 19 3-ss. 2. ,„ . First Open Handicap.— J.
