BOXING.
McINNES V. HARMS. THE AMATEUR BOUTS. local boxing enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the fifteen rounds professional fight between Tommy Mclnnes (Scotland) and Billy Harms (South Africa), which will be the headliner on the Northern Boxing Association's programme to be decided in the Town Hall next Monday evening. Both men are training hard, Mclnnes at Matt Hatton's Y.M.C-A. gymnasium and Harms at the Fire Station. In addition to the professional contest the following amateur bouts will be decided:—Lightweight, Leslie v. Karini (ex Taranafci champion) ; bantamweight. Da vies v. Johns: heavyweight. GUFord v. Mulling; bantamweight, R. Purdy v. Pooley. The box plan opens at Messrs. Carter and Asher'e shop to-morrow.
