WHANGAREI POLICE COURT.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day.
A young Maori, Huia Erna, was charged in the Police Court this morning with having carnally known a girl under 16 years of age at Portland between August 22 and October 16. He was remanded to appear at Whangarei on November 28. Bail was allowed.
