Not To Stand For Re-election In Own Constituency.
SAFE SEAT NEAR LONDON. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, November 23. ' The Secretary of State for War, Sir Laming Worthington-Evans, yesterday announced to the Colchester Conservative Association his decision not to stand for> re-elec-tion for that constituency at the next general election. Iu his letter he says his health is not strong enough to enable him to do his work as a Minister and also look Sir Laming a ft er a country Worthington-Evans. constituency. It is understood that a safe seat is to bo found for him nearer London.
