ROTORUA NOTES.
The Rotorua Women's Club held their last social afternoon for the year, beforo going into recess until February, on Tuesday afternoon at St. Luke's Parish Hall. Mrs. W. L. Richards, the president, presided, and welcomed all the members and their friends. The hall was arranged with bowls of shaded pink roses and Iceland poppies. A competition, "Things in and Around a House," was won by Mrs. Hell. Songs were 2ung by Mrs. F. dc M. Hydo and Mrs. W. Richards; recitations given by Mrs. George Steele, and musical monologues by Miss Whitburn. The accompaniments were played by Mrs. W. Richards. Those present included: Mesdames W. L. Richards, H. P. Ford, J. Campny, A. T. Coates, A. V. Merriman, Cohnle, H. If. Davis, G. Steele, A. Steele, Mansefield, Louden, Hogan, J. St. Clair, Miller, W. Brown, N. Keane, Ewen, Thompson, Winslade, Peace, F. White, W. Richards, Bell, Bcnner, F. de M. Hvde, Misses Whitburn, La Traeille (Sydney), P. St. Clair.
