WAIPAHI ARRIVED. TRONGATE SAILED. For the remainder of the week the Auckland waterfront will not be as busy as it has been recently. The only overseas arrival to day was the Waipahi with fruit from Fiji, and she is expected to complete discharge and sail for Portland to-night. The next overseas vessel due is the tanker Hilda Knudsen, from Los Angeles, on Saturday, while the Bosworth from Texas and the Benholm from New York are due early next week. The Trongate sailed for Lyttelton early this afternoon, and the Port Darwin is to be dispatched for the South this afternoon.

The Kurow left Wellington at 8.30 p.m. yesterday for Auckland. After discharge here she is to go to Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. CANADIAN TRAVELLER SAILED. To put out the remainder of her general cargo from Montreal, the Canadian National steamer Canadian Traveller sailed yesterday afternoon for Wellington and Geelong. TRONGATE SAILED. In continuation of her voyage from Galveston (Texas) the steamer Trongate palled early this afternoon for Lyttelton and Port Ketnbla. WAIHEMO COMING. Cabled advice from Los Angeles states that the Union Co.'s steamer Waiherao left there at 10.80 a.m. on Friday last, with case oil. lumber and general cargo for Auckland. Wellington. Melbourne and Sydney. She is due here on December 24. PORT DARWIN TO SAIL. To continue loading for London, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Darwin is to sail at 4 p.m. to-day for Gisborne, Napier and Wellington. THE HILDA KNUDSEX. Due at Auckland from Los Angeles on Saturday next, the tanker Hilda Knudsen has a full cargo of bulk motAr spirit for discharge here, and at Wellington. Melbourne and Sydney, for the Atlantic Union Co. The local portion of her cargo will be discharged at the Western wharf. KAITUNA DELAYED. Owing to wet weather, the Union Co.'s steamer Kaltnna has been delayed at Na-nier. She was to leave there at noon to-day for Auckland, where she will complete discharge of her cargo of Newcastle coal. Prom here she Is to go to Greymouth to load. CANADA-WEST INDIES SERVICE. The Lady Rodney. the fourth of the fleet under construction for the Cs'i.idlan National Steamships to be used in the Canada-West indies service, was launched at. Birkenhead, England, on October 31, and the Lady Snmers. the fifth and final vessel will take the water from the same yard on November 28. The new vessels will operate from Canadian Atlantic ports to Bermuda, the Bahamas and Jamaica. They are 488 ft in length, with a gross tonnage of 7750 tons. The Lady Rodney and Lady Somers will carry first-class passengers, and will be especially equipped for the banana trade.

MAUNGANUI'S ITINERARY. With passengers, mail and cargo from San Francisco, Papeete and Rarotonira, the Roval Mail liner Maunganui is due at Wellington next Monday morning. Shs is to resume her voyage to Sydney the following day. At Sydney the vessel will be withdrawn and transferred to the intercolonial passenger service. She will be replaced by the Tahiti, which has been extensively overhauled, and will leave Wellington for Sydney on November 23. At Svdnev the Tahiti will transfer to the i Pacific service. THE NORFOLK. The departure of the Federal steamer Norfolk for Wellington mid Lyttelton, has been postponed until Tuesday afternoon. She is unloading general cargo from London at the Queen's wharf, to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. THE MAHANA. j The local office of the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advise that the steamer Mabana, which left London yesterday for Australia, is to load homeward cargo in New Zealand from January 6 to Jauuaty 21. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. The following vessels are expected to be within range of the Auckland wireless station to-night:—Tofua, Maui Pomare, Port Auckland, King Cadwallor, H.M.s. Diomede, Hilda, Knudsen. Kaituna. Benholm, Bosworth, Port Darwin. KAITOKE RESUMES. Her overhaul completed, the Union Company's steamer Kaitoke has been recommissioned and sails this afternoon for Westport to load for New Plymouth and Auckland. She will replace the Kaimanawa, which Is now announced to sail at noon to-morrow for Westport, to load for Wellington. WAIPAHI ARRIVED. Twenty-four hours later than expected, the Union Company's steamer Waipahi arrived from Suva this morning and Is discharging her cargo of fruit. On her return voyage, she was delayed by strong] head winds and high seas, but did not sustain any damage. She is expected to sail at 4 p.m. to-day for Portland to load cement for Wellington and Lyttelton.
