DIED IN HIS SHIP.
CHIEF ENGINEER OF SCOW.

BLENHEIM, this day,
Walter Urwin, aged 50, of Abbot Street, Wanganui, chief engineer of the scow Echo, collapsed and died in the engine-room as the vessel was casting off from Blenheim this morning. He had just rejoined the ship after spending a week in hospital, where he was treated for heart trouble.
