MR. H. »A. G. CLARK,

Next Sunday morning, Mr. H. A. G. Clark, minister elect of the Church of Christ, Dominion Road, will commence his work in that charge. He arrived at Wellington by the Ulimaroa from Sydney yesterday, and is expected to reach Auckland by the express on Saturday morning. Mr. Clarke has. seen service as a missionary in China. The fighting there necessitated the Consul closing tlib station. While waiting for it to reopen, Mr. Clarke went to Yale University and took his B.A. degree. He has since studied religious conditions in England, Europe and Australia. Mr. Clarke was for a time a teacher at Scotch College, Melbourne, and is stated to be a most popular preacher. He is also fond of 'football, cricket and: tennis.
