Dalgety and Company, Lid., report:— A heavier yarding of ox beef than last week came forward, the hulk of which comprised well-finished lines. Competition was fairly steady, and values were on a par with last week. One prime heavyweight bullock from Kaikolie, on account of Mr. H. S. Ludbrook, realised £26, and was bought by R. and W. Hellaby, Ltd. Prime bullocks, £16, £16 5/ to £16 15/; prime medium-weight, £14 £14 17/6, £15> £15 7/6 to £15 10/. An average yarding of cow and heifer was broupht forward, and competition was firm at late rates. One prime heifer was sold on account of ludbrook, of Kaihoke, ;ind realised Prune cows and heifers. £11 to £14; lighter sorts, £8 17/6 to £10 7/6. choice ox sold to 45 1 per 1001b.
