WOMAN DISAPPEARS.
PROBABLE LOSS OF MEMORY.
(Received 11.30 a.m.)
SYDNEY, this day.
Mystery surrounds the disappearance of Mrs. Maud Hill, who failed to return home at Paddington from the city, where she was employed. The woman was living apart from her husband and had been bravely maintaining a home for her four children, the eldest of whom is thirteen. The children on Friday night went to bed disconsolately in the absence of their mother. Their plight soon became known and inquiries were started. The missing woman is attractive and there is nothing to suggest foul play. The opinion is expressed that she may have lost her memory.
