Mr. H. W. Green (Dannevirke), Major Forrest Lindsay (London), and Mr C Cadburne (Wellington) are at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. T. W. Rhodes, ex-M.P. for Thames, was a passenger to Frankton from Wellington by the Limited express this morning.
Mr. and Mrs. F. Hay (Rotorua), Mr. M. McMillan (Christchureh), and Mr. and Mrs. J. Holds worth (Falmouth, England) are at the Star Hotel. c
Mr. Justice Smith will leave Auckland about the end of this week to open the sittings of the Supreme Court in Palmerston North next Tuesday.
Mr. C. A. Maekersey (Wellington), Mr Sydney Wood and Mr. E. W. Collie (Dunedin), and Mr. Maurice Diamond (New York) are at the Albert Hotel.
Captain T. J. Watts, superintendent and secretary of the United Fire Brigades' Association of New Zealand, was a passenger by the Limited express from Wellington this morning.
Mr. D. M. Jarvie and Mr. W. McDonald (Wellington), Mr. ,A. Gardner (Hastings), Mr. W. L. Spackman' and Mr. H. Bent on (Napier), and Mr. A. Brown (Cambridge) are at the Central Hotel.
Mr. W. R. McGregor, lecturer in zoology at the Auckland University College, left last week on a trip to the Western Pacific Islands, where he will collect specimens. At a meeting of the College Council yesterday he was granted leave of absence until the end of the first term of next year.
