SYDNEY WOOL SALES.
A FIRM MARKET.
SYDNEY, November 12.
The Sydney wool sales were resumed to-day, this being the third series. All sections of the trade competed strongly, notably France, Germany, Russia and Japan. The market was very firm and unchanged, although finer descriptions of Merino showed a hardening tendency. Greasy Merino sold to 28% d, equalling the highest price this season. The balea ■old totalled 12314. ./ '_
