The Auckland trainer J. Shaw did not bring Western King and Amaris back to Auckland from Christchurch, the pair being sold to a patron of M. B. Edwards' stable on Saturday la«t. Til turn involved in the purchase of Western King was a substantial one. Sha-W brought back Jackie Audubon, Th# Abbey, and Jewel Pointer.
