A VOTER WISHES TO KNOW.
'As a bumble elector I would like to-see some definite indication made publicly of the attitudes of the' United party and the Labour party in the event of a no-confidence vote being-moved against the Government. Both parties have the desire to oust the Coates Government.. We are very near torvtha elections, and any situation may arise. Now should either' TVIr. Holland's party or Sir Joseph Ward's party have a slight advantage over each other and-Mr. Coates be in'the position that be- has an insufficient majority to carry on, what would then be the position? Mr. Holland desires to have Sir Joseph Ward's definite' statement, but so far as I have seen or heard neither Sir Joseph Ward nor Mr. Holland has been.definite about.this question. Would it not be fair to the electors for both these leaders to come out with a straight, and final answer to_ each ' other, and ,the electori would then know where they stand? '. ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ C. T. SMITH,
