WIRRAL ARRIVED.

MAKAMA SAILS 3 P.M.

There are no vessels due at Auckland from overseas ports until to-morrow morning, when the Canadian Traveller is due from Montreal. The Wirral, which wirelessed that sh© would arrive from Montreal this morning, reached port last evening, twelve hours earlier than expected. Sailings announced for this afternoon include the Hannington Court and the passenger steamer Marama, both for Sydney, while to-morrow the Canadian Highlander and Matakana are to sail for southern ports to continue discharge of overseas cargoes. The Kurow left Timaru at 6 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, via Lyttelton, Wellington and Picton. Part of her cargo is for transhipment to Canada by the Aorangi The Wingatui is to sail at noon to-mor-row for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru.
