TEST MATCH STATUS. 1 NEXT N.Z. TEAM FOR ENGLAND. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") DUNEDIN, this day. Like the other English cricket coaches to arrive in New Zealand, L. C. Eastman, the Otaga coach, is confident that England will win the rubber. When asked whether he thought that the next New Zealand team which went Home would obtain Test match status, Eastman said he felt sure that it would. The team which had toured England had played good sporting cricket, and at the end of the tour had demonstrated that it was a good side.

The English public did not forget, and consequently the next tour would be more successful financially. If New Zealand sent a team Home every four years the two countries would not lose touch with each other. Referring to the proposed visit of an English team to New Zealand, Eastman said he was sure the next team would be composed of really good players.
