INCREASE THE OPPOSITION.
The official Labour candidate for Parnell, Mr. J. W. Yarnail, addressed a meeting of electors in Remuera Library last night, Mr. Thomas Carter presiding. The candidate received an attentive hearing while he expounded the 14 points of the Labour platform, and later criticised the Government. He argued that the middle class in Remuera had the same interests as the workers, and should therefore join in the movement to return stronger opposition to Parliament.
Only one question was asked, and Mr. Yarnail was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence, with only one dissentient.
