MR. HOLLAND AT RAETIHI.
LARGE AUDIENCE UNANIMOUS.
"A FAVOURABLE AUGURY."

RAETIHI, this day. Mr. H. E. Holland, Leader of the Opposition, addressed last night the largest political meeting held at Raetihi. during the present campaign. The address, which consisted°of condemnation of the Reform policy and administration, criticism of the United party's constitution, and a presentation of Labour's policy and ideals, was given in support of the candidature of Mr. F. Langstone, official Labour candidate for Waimarino, and it was presided over by the Mayor of Raetihi, Mr. W. H. Sandford. Mis 3 Holland was on the platform with her father. Mr. Holland was given a splendid hearing and accorded an ovation at the conclusion of his address. He answered several questions on Labour's land and licensing policy, and then thanked the audience for its reception, sty in g he regarded it as a favourable augury of the intention of voters on November 14. A vote' of thanks to Mr. Holland and of the Labour party waa cat\ tied with acclamation. ~ ,
