PREMIER RESIGNS.
Regency Insists On National
Government.
EXCITEMENT PREVAILS
(Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, November 4. The Rumanian crisis, brought about by the resignation of the Prime Minister, M. Yintila Bratiano, is dug to the Regency Council's insistence on the formation of a National Government in which all parties will be represented. Excitement prevailed, as it was feared that if M. Bratiano refused, the Peasants' party would try to force the overthrow of his regime. The Peasants' party recently demanded free elections, declaring that the Government was ia power solely through dishonesl manipulation of the franchise. The Government's announcement that negotia-' tions for a stabili-1 sation loan had been concluded, caused the Peasants' leader to declare that the mobilisation of their forces was proceeding and they intended to lay siege on the Government before. A message from Bucharest states that the Rumanian Regency Council has accepted the resignation of the Prime Minister, M. Bratiano. The leader of the Peasants' party, M. Julius Maniu, will, it is expected, be invited to form a coalition Ministry.
