(Received 12.30 p.m.) I THURSDAY ISLAND, November 4, I The Nippon Yusen Kaisha line's steamer Tango Maru, 6893 tons, is aground on Gippa Rocks, 7iear the western entrance to Thursday Island Harbour. It is believed the vessel is leaking The passeugers are at present remaining aboard. The ship's position is reported to be safe.
