CATHOLIC PRIEST ORDAINED.
OLD AUCKLAND BOY. The Rev. Francis Terry, son of Mr. and Mr*. J. J. Terry, of St. Mary's Road, Ponsonby, was ordained priest this morning :n the Basilica of St. John Lateran, Rome, by the Cardinal Vicar. After being at school at St. Benedict's J and Vermont Street, Father Terry studied for three years at Sacred Heart College, and read philosophy for three years at Holy Cross College, Mosgiel. He has been at the Lateran Seminary,! Rome, since 1925, and has passed his licentiate in theology in preparation for the doctorate.
