ON DAY OF GENERAL ELECTION

Polling day, November 14, becomes the weekly half-holiday, and all shops that usually close on Saturday afternoon or on any othtjr day must close on the afternoon of the general election, and may keep open on the afternoon they usually close. All occupiers of factories 'must afford all their employees of voting age reasonable time, not exceeding one hour, to record their votes during working hours, and no deduction muss be made from the workers' wages on this account.
