The tragedy of grey hair is never so great as with the woman whose fading hair makes her appear like the grandmother or her own children. Mm. T. A. Allenbury, a well-known resident of Mereain, W.A., who was called "Mother" and "Grandmother," because or her faded White hair, and who darkened It with ft simple home-made mixture, recently made the following statement: — "Why, anyone can do as 1 did, and throw 10 or 80 years of age rrom their appearance. Just prepare this simple mixture at home, which quickly darkens the hair and makes It soft and glossy. To seven (7) ounces of water add loz or Bay Rum, a ioz box or Orlex Compound, and loz or Oiycerme. These Ingredients can be purchased at any chemist's at trifling cost, and mixed at home to save unnecessary expense. Apply to the hair twice a week until the desired shade is obtained.
