THE MARINE PARK.

UNITED CANDIDATE'S ADVOCACY

"I was gratified to learn that the Government has decided to make Motuihi a marine park," stated Mr. A. J. Stallworthy, United candidate for Eden. "Some fifteen months ago, I was successful in getting a resolution through the City Council, urging the Government to open this charming island to the public. Three months ago I urged all United candidates, in the public interest, to advocate Motuihi as a mafine park, and to place it prominently on their local platform. As the island will be an asset to the whole province, I am not a bit sorry that the Prime Minister has stolen my thunder.'' _ _
