MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS.

Alburnia.—The manager reports that the drive north on the hangingwall branch of -the Orlando , reef has been extended 6ft, ,a total of 294 ft, from the centre of the -main crosscut west. This reef averages 61 n wide, and carries nice mineral and silica. The reef cut a few weeks ago averages 2ft wide, but has been a little mixed with mullock, but is improving again. The country rock Is still very firm on both walls, and- of a good class for making gold. Both these reefs are bearing away to the right, towards the main Orlando reef, but have not functioned as yet. The rise on the dropper pi the Sons of Freedom reef Hsßi 9ft, a "total" of 54ft. The reef averages filn wide, and carries nice mineral and silica. The country In the footwall is of a good class and is a mixture of mullock and quartz stringers.

Maoriland.—The manager reports that last week a run of very fair class stone was met with, which appears to be making good going south.
