ARBITRATION COURT.
TRANSFER OP PRESIDENT. ABOUT MID NOVEMBER. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, Monday . Mr. Justice Frazer, president of the Arbitration Court, and Messrs. A. L. Monteit'h and G. T. Booth returned to Wellington yesterday from the West Coast. They will leave on Thursday for Christchurch, where a sitting of the court will be held on Friday. The clerk of awards has been notified that any urgent business from districts outside Canterbury will be disposed of at the Christchurch sitting, if the parties agree. It is understood that after the conclusion of the Christchurch sitting, about the middle of November, Mr. Jus-tice Frazer will be available for Supreme Court work, but it is possible that if time permits a short sitting of the Arbitration Court will be held at Auckland before the end of the year.
