PALMER PRIZE.

Percy Foster, aged 15 years, a pupil of 'he Ngatea District High School, has just been notified that he has been awarded first prize in the 1928 Palmer Prize essay competition. The competition was open to all boys between the ages of 14 and 18 years "attending the secondary schools of the Dominion, the subject set this year being "How the British Navy has helped in Discovery and Invention."
