GENERAL YOUNG IN WAIHI.

WAIHI, this day,

Major-General R. Young, Officer Commanding the New Zealand Military Forces, accompanied by Colonel H. R. Potter and Lieut. Innes, arrived in Waihi this morning. He was met at the railway station and accorded a welcome by the Mayor, Mr. W. M. Wallnutt, Colonel Jowsey, and the town clerk, Mr. Westbury.

General Young inspected the High School Cadets in the afternoon, and will inspect the Territorials and town cadets iQus. exGoij^^,
