BEQUESTS TO INSTITUTIONS.

ARCHIBALD CLEMENTS' GIFTS

The late Mr. Archibald Clements, who for many years lived in Parnell, and prior to that in the Waikato, bequeathed sums, which have now been paid, as follow: Knox Home for Incurables, £200; Church of England Orphanage, P..patoetoe, £100; Leslie Presbyterian Orphanage, Remuera, £100; Little Sisters of the Poor, Ponsonby, £100; Roman Catholic Boys' Orphanage, £50; Roman Catholic Girls' Orphanage, £50; Institute for the Blind, £50; and Richmond Road Children's Home, £25.

Mr. Clements was a trustee of the Knox Home for Incurables, and also of the Auckland Savings Bank. At the age of 90 years Mr. Clements was re-elected a member of the Parnell Licensing Committee. He had an Imperial pension for wounds received during the war in the Waikato.
