SCOTLAND'S OWN. Significance Of Nationalist Party. NEGLECT AT WESTMINSTER. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 1 p.m.) RUGBY, October 28. Apart from the usual "ragging," the chief interest in the Glasgow University rectorial election was the fact that the well-known author, Mr. R. B. Cunninghame Graham, who .stood as the Scottish Nationalist, polled within 66 vote 3 of Mr. Baldwin's total. It is stated that the Scottish Nationalists intend to contest future Parliamentary elections in Scotland independently of the three great political parties. ! The party bases its appeal on the j alleged neglect of national interests in Parliament at Westminster.
