MAN WITH BROKEN NOSE.

ENGINEER REMANDED ON ASSAULT CHARGE. Joseph Kane (24), an engineer and labourer, was charged at the Police this morning with assaulting Eric Draper on Saturday afternoon. In asking for a remand until November 1, Sub-Inspector McCarthy said it would be alleged that Kane approached Draper arid deliberately hit him on {he face. Draper's nose was broken. Accused was remanded, bail, in one surety of £20, being allowed.
