BYRD EXPEDITION.

SHIPS ALTER COURSE.

WILL CALL AT WELLINGTON,

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

DUNEDIN, this day.

The ships of the Byrd Antarctic expedition have now altered their course. A radio message from Commander Byrd states that the steamer fc. A. Larsen is carrying supplies for the expedition, and is putting in at Wellington. Fifteen men of the expedition, including the business manager, Mr. Richard Brophy, are aboard the Larsen.

The members*of the expedition will stay in Dunedin before leaving for the Antarctic.
