SPARE PILOT CHOSEN.
SYDNEY, October 26. Flying-Officer Owen will be the relief pilot for Captain Frank Hurley and Flying-Officer S. J. Moir in tlie monoplane Spirit of Australia, which will start for England on Sunday morning. Flying-Officer Owen, who is a member of the Australian Air Force, has just spent a holiday tuuimr-up the engines of the 'plane, with which he is thus well acquainted.
