AUBADE IN SPRING.

Xow faery days and feathered skies Are thronging all the earth again. And lilacs drip their coloured n.-a On beds of golden primroses. Xow every wind is delicate, And skies are lapia lazuli, And on the chosen apple tree The thrush singe to ins hidden mate. For spring has woven cunning nets . Of flowers lush from winter rains, And caught the earth in daisy-chains, And tangled her with violets. —A. K. D. FAISBCRN. Auckland.
