JELLY FOR CHILDREN'S PARTIES.
Almost all children like jelly, and all fchildren like it better if it is served in an unusual or specially attractive way. Csut oranges in half, remove the fruit, and pour in jelly. When set and ready to serve the half orange is cut into four pieces. The jelly can be easily and tidily eaten from the skin without the use of a spoon. When making jelly for <•>»« method, do not use as much water as prescribed, or when the skins are cut the jelly will fall away. The oranges can. also be cut in the shape of a basket with a handle by cutting very carefully around the middle of the orange and leavin / a strip of the other half of the orange to form the handle. Care must be taken not to break the handle off from the basket. The skin is then filled with chopped jelly. The orange basket must be served each on its own plate and not lifted from it, because the handle of the basket will not bear the weight of the jelly and rind. For the third way of serving jelly half orange skins are used, the edges being cut into sharp little points or scalloped. They are then filled with chopped jelly, which is piled up a little in the middle. Stiffly whipped cream can be added if liked. In the second and third methods the oranges should be cut across the quarters so that the flattest surfaces form the bottom of the halves,
