To-day the Premier will visit Silverdale, Dairy Flat, Brown's Bay, Albany, Coateaville, Riverhead, Huapai and Rumen. After an address at the lastmentioned place, Mr. and Mrs. Coates will go to Auckland, arriving late tonight. They will be in the city over the week-end, staying at the Grand Hotel. On Monday night Mr. Coates will address a Reform rally in the Town Hall, while Mrs. Coates is to be given a reception in the Town Hall in the afternoon. Mr. Coates will continue his campaign in the Auckland Province on Tuesday. REPLIES TO DEPUTATIONS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI this day. The Prime Minister was occupied all this morning with deputations from local bodies. The County Council wanted an increased permissible grant authorisation for the present financial year. Mr. Coates said he would discuss with the Public Works Minister the advisiability of placing at least an additional 25 per cent on the estimates.

The Mankakahia loan relief was a matter wholly between the County Council and the Highways Council. The Borough Council urged the extension to Onerahi of its electric power license. Mr. Coates replied that the request would be granted only on the condition that power was taken from the State when it was available.
