PRESENTATIONS.
A leather suitcase and a leather bowl-l ing case was the presentation made to : Mr. R. H. Boyd, who has been promoted from the position of chief postmaster at I Hamilton to that of chief postmaster at Wellington at a gathering of the Hamilton 'office staff. In making the presentation, Mr. Stitchbury said that Mr. Boyd had made many improvements in service conditions at Hamilton. He had won the respect and the regard of the whole j staff. Mrs. Boyd was presented with an afternoon teaset. There was a big gathering at the Horahora School, Whangarci, on Thursday,! when Miss Campbell, who has been, infant mistress of the school for a number of years, was made a presentation. The smallest girl in the school, Winnie Podmore,. presented Miss Campbell with a travelling rug, and a bouquet of .flowers was given by Olga Englund* Vera Hirons and Elas North,- -/
