PERSONAL.
Dr. Bevan Brown left for the South by .the Limited last evening. Mr. and Mrs. B. Scannell. of Napier, are staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. W. E. Bush, city engineer, leaves for Sydney by the Maheno this afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. S. Jager, of Auckland, are at present staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. J. Watson and Mr. K. Mitchell, of Wellington, are staying at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. and Mrs. H. Hine (Te Kuiti) and Mr. F. Fowler (Russell) are staying at the Central Hotel. Mr. G. W. Wild, Government agricultural instructor at Hamilton, ha 3 been transferred to Invercargill. Among the guests at the Albert Hotel are Mr. and Mrs. Alex Miller (Hamilton), Mr. Lan Grant (Rotorua) and Mr. S. Pirie (Sydney). Mr. F. W. Cave, of Epsom, is leaving ing for England by the M.v. Port Fremantle on Saturday, returning to New Zealand in March next. Staying at the Star Hotel are Mr. M. McQueen (Dunedin), Mr. and Mrs. W. Heyward (Hamilton). Mr. A. J. Rigg (Wellington). Mr. W. Wakelin (Wliangarei), Mr. J. S. Richardson (Whangarei), Mr. E. M. Ebkin (Te Kuiti), Mr. J. Borough (Hamilton), Mr. j. G. Ball (Gisborne) and Mr. E. Morris (Dunedin).
