ELECTIONS OF TRUSTEES.
SOME VACANCIES IN WAIKATO.
(From Onr Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Wednesday. The election of trustees to the various drainage boards in the Waikato has resulted in the return of the following:— Woodlands.—Messrs. A. W. Chapman, F. W. Seifert, J. Hoist, VV. J. Bridgman, J. Milton, G. and R. Besley. Te Rapa.—Messrs. W. McL. Malcolm, J. S. Elliott, J. Courtney, J. A. Washer and G. Clarke. Eureka.—Messrs. R. O. Duncan, T. Thompson and P. Ringer. Mangawara.—Mr. A. A. Civil. No nominations were receiw.J for a number of vacancies on the last three mentioned boards.
HAXTRAKI UNITED.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) P AERO A, Wednesday. An election will be held on November 5 for representatives for two subdivisions of the Hauraki United Drainage Board. Messrs. S. S. Murray, J. C. Miller and R. H. Heaphey have been elected unopposed for the northern and southern divisions. The three candidates for two vacancies in the central subdivision are Messrs. H. H. Hicks and R. A. Kneebone (sitting members), and G. Williams. The candidates for two vacancies in the south central division are Messrs. F. L. Hamilton and W. McDufF (sitting members), and James Hamilton.
WIRI.
Messrs. O. E. Hedger, A. S. Holes. P. 11. A. Holmes, D. A. McXutt and T. E. Robinson - have boon e'.ccted trustees of the Wiri drainage district, unopposed.
