PAPAKURA ORPHANS.

CLOSING NIGHT FUNCTION. The Papakura Orphans closed their 1928 session in the Paragon Theatre last evening, when an excellent programme was rendered. The president, Bro. W. K. Francis, thanked all his officers for their great service to him and the club during the season, and specially thanked the orchestra. Professor Bro. Maxwell Walker, replyi on behalf of visitors and brethren present, spoke of the great spirit of Orphandum that exists in Papakura. The orchestra rendered several selections and other items were contributed by Bros. Jim Lonergan, Merry, Fred Walker. The Popular 3 C's, Bros.
